Comments:
I don't know if Aztech actually sells their chipsets to other companies, but certainly many boards are re-badged Aztech units or use Aztech's chipsets, so I've created a chipset entry for Aztech. Aztech's OS/2 support has slowly improved, from being quite iffy to being OK but still not spectacular. With Warp 4.0, though, the Aztech support is lagging again, since it doesn't support VTD. If you already have a board with an Aztech chipset, it's certainly worth digging up the drivers for it; but I wouldn't recommend buying an Aztech-based board if you want a new sound card. Particularly common problems include Win-OS/2 support and wavetable sound (for wavetable-enabled boards).
