Comments:
These boards use the AMD InterWave chipset, and so will probably work with the Manley 1.20 drivers (in beta test as of 10/19/96), but I can't guarantee that. The Pro board includes a number of special audio effects, like reverb and karaoke, not included in the 3-D model; but I don't know if any of these would be accessible from OS/2. To use wavetable MIDI from OS/2, the Manley drivers require that the sound board have RAM. Although the 3-D has sockets for 30-pin SIMMs, to use them it is first necessary to add a 40-pin, 512-kilobit RAM chip. These are fairly inexpensive but hard to find. rodsmith@rodsbooks.com
